A live stage performance for Grammy nominated Mura Masa. The artwork’s visual language by Go De Jong is transcended though layered screens and mirrored sculptures positioned on stage surrounding a transparent podium. Each track assigned a colour scheme, the speed of the projected animation is defined by the tracks algorithm - illustrating an homogenous visual narrative, usually unseen by the audience. Alex (Mura Masa) is at the centre of the responsive immersive installation, standing on a transparent podium that reflects, shadows and siluottes the inverse jolty design language used throughout the creative campaign. The disembodiment of the mirrored flooring and sculptures materiality reflects, blurs, bounces and shadows the animated movement of the immersive performance. The tiered audience are given a different intimate experience depending on where one is positioned in Brixton Academy's auditorium.
